My fascination with rural nighttime fires and car accidents undoubtedly derives in part from my experiences of childhood stargazing, small town adolescent nightlife, and personal tragedy growing up in rural Vancouver Island. The photographs I use are all found images from the internet. Most titles are lyrics from songs I listen to while painting.
